The deep drop program is dialed. We ran 1,600 feet of braid to the bottom and had a bite inside twenty minutes on both drops.

Swordfishing rewards preparation more than luck. Every rig is tied the night before, every light is tested, and the drift is planned around the current.

We are running squid baits with LP lights staged at 30 and 60 feet above the bait.

Two drops, two fish, both over 120 pounds. That is a season for most boats.
