Our story

Born of the tide, built by people who never wanted desk jobs

Tideborne Charters is a family-run Destin operation that grew from one used center console into a four-boat fleet — without turning its owner into a full-time administrator.

Why we exist

Great fishing days are made on land

Anyone can put a boat in the water. What separates a good charter from a great one is preparation: bait rigged the night before, weather read three days out, guests who know exactly where to park at 5am.

For years we did all of that on paper, in three calendars, and across two phones. We lost trips to missed messages and left money on the dock in unfilled slots. So we built the system we wished existed and then kept building until the business ran on it. Today the schedule, the deposits, the crew hours and the maintenance log live in one place, and the captains get to stay captains.

2021

The flagship

2024

Charter OS

Fed up with three calendars and a shoebox of receipts, the team builds an operating system for the business.

2026

9,400 trips in

Four vessels, five captains, one dock office, and an owner who is still on the water most weeks.

What we hold to

Four things we do not compromise on

Safety is not a talking point

Pre-trip inspections, current certifications and a captain who will call a day off when the Gulf says so.

Conservation over headcount

We fish within limits, release breeders, and teach every guest to handle a fish properly.

Straight pricing

One price includes licenses, tackle, bait, ice, fuel and cleaning. No dockside surprises.

Clean water, clean decks

No single-use plastic aboard, and we haul back more line than we bring out.
